After a short hiatus, the Albertville Friendly City Days 5K is back and better than ever. Come celebrate Albertville Friendly City Days while supporting 2 great causes. All proceeds benefit the Chad Smith Run for Life and the STMA CC teams. Don’t miss your chance to sprint down main street Albertville just before the start of the Albertville Friendly City Days parade! The streets will be lined with people to cheer you all the way to the finish line! Make sure to attend all of the Albertville Friendly City Days events, then join us to sweat it out at the 5K, before relaxing and enjoying Father’s Day on Sunday, June 15!

Race Day Information
Packet Pickup
We encourage everyone to pick up their bib and t-shirt the day before the race to avoid congestion. Bib and t-shirt pickup will be available at the Middle School West track from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Saturday June 14th. Alternatively, you can pick up your bib on race day beginning at 10:00am. Pickup and checkin will close at 10:50am.
Parking
Parking is available at the Middle School West Parking Lot.
Results
The race will be based off a gun start and chip finish. Race timing will be displayed on a digital clock. Results will be posted on this site after the race.
Swag
T-shirts will be given to all 5k race participants registered by May 25th. Additional shirts will be given to late registrants if available.
Prizes
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall men and overall women.
1st place: $150
2nd place: $100
3rd place: $50
Non-cash prizes will be given to the top 3 finishers in each gender/age division.
COURSE ROUTE
The start of the race will begin on the STMA Middle School track. The first 250 meters will proceed along the track before exiting the school complex and onto the Albertville streets. The last mile of the race will follow down Main Ave where the parade will follow at 12:30. The finish will go back through the school complex and onto the track for 100 meters to the track finish line.
