Important Notes on T-Shirts
Please note: We will try our absolute best to make sure everyone gets a t-shirt before the run; we are running low!
If we run out of t-shirts before you register, you will be able to write your name down and we will get you one after the run.
An Important Note to Virtual Participants: We have shipped packages out for those who registered on or before August 20th! If you signed up for a virtual run after the 20th, you will receive your t-shirt after the in-person 5k.
Description
Running With Ella is not your typical 5k. There is no podium and no timer; these miles are open to the celebration of all movement on foot–whether that means running, walking, skipping, or dancing your way to the finish line. In fact, we are so determined to put the “fun” in “fun run” that we made sure to collaborate with one of the most popular annual gatherings in Austin–the Austin ArtWorks Festival. Runners and walkers will reach the finish line just in time to join in for the Festival kick-off on Saturday morning.
This event is more than just fun, though; by joining us, you’re helping to raise money for the Riverland College Emergency Grant Scholarship, which will support students who experience an unforeseen financial burden that would otherwise negatively impact their academic success and possibly even derail their future.
Running With Ella is a charity run lovingly organized by With Ella, Inc. to celebrate the memory of Ella Page. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to support college-aged women as they navigate the unique challenges of early adulthood–particularly those revolving around mental health. We strive to create a safe, uplifting community that empowers young women to break the silence that too often stifles those at life’s starting line, to build resilience, to nurture their mental and physical wellbeing, and to lead healthier, happier lives.
Our inaugural event includes both a 5k and virtual 5k, as we hope to include those who can't make the trip to Austin this year. Please help us celebrate Ella's memory and champion her legacy in giving back to the educational community.

Directions
Meet us in the parking lot of the Austin City Pool. The run will start on the trail bordering Mill Pond and end in front of the Paramount Theatre.
