Description
Family friendly run/walk on Thanksgiving morning hosted by The Main Alternative in Kasson, MN. Burn some calories before you go eat a big meal. Bloody Mary's and Screwdrivers available for participants 21+ after the run/walk to help get you ready for family time! Water and coffee will also be provided by the Dodge County Salvation Army. Post race snacks will also be available to participants.
The 5k and 2.5k can be signed up using the same 5k link. You pick your route!
All race registration proceeds, and any extra donations will be donated directly to the Food Shelf in Kasson to help feed individuals and families in Dodge County! Neighbors helping neighbors! Come out and support your community and meet some new friends along the way!
Costumes are DEFINITELY ENCOURAGED! After the race while we're enjoying beverages, we will have a Costume Contest (the winner gets a special prize) as well as some drawings for fun prizes!
New this year, Race t-shirts will be given to participants who register by November 13, 2024, at NOON! Shirt sizes range from Youth Medium to Adult XXXL. If you are not registered by November 13, 2024, at NOON you will NOT be guaranteed a t-shirt. Be sure to sign up ASAP!

2.5k Route
Race Routes: Registration covers the 5k or 2.5k-- price is the same for both (remember, this is a fundraiser for our local food shelf and ALL of the proceeds go directly to the Dodge County Food Shelf).
5k Route
We changed the route ever so slightly this year to include the NEW Restoration Park! This area is located near the North Kwik Trip. We will have the short part of the trail clearly marked. The trail portion of the 5k is only 1/4 of a mile, but please use caution as there is uneven ground. We thought this would be a nice glimpse of the park for folks who haven't visited it yet!
