2025 Shamrock Shuffle 5K

Shuffle on this March with the Marshall Area YMCAs Annual Shamrock Shuffle! Join in on the FUN as this 5K (3.1 mile) course winds through Marshall and ends at Brau Brothers Brewery. This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, including children and families. Make sure to wear your green and show off your shamrock pride!

Would you rather participate indoors? Consider the Virtual 5K which can be completed inside the Marshall Area YMCA on March 15th. A FREE YMCA DAY PASS will be available to non-member participants who would like to complete the 5k indoors at the YMCA on March 15 (day pass is only valid on 3/15/15). Simply stop by the membership desk and let them know you had signed up for the Shamrock Shuffle. Treadmills and track will be available for use throughout the day.

Every participant will receive one Brau Drink Ticket upon completion of race and is valid for 1 drink on 3/15/25 ONLY.
No weather-related refunds will be available for this event as stated when you registered for the race on RunSignUp. 

Race Day Details - 

Check in will begin at 9:30am on 3/15/25 in the Marshall Area YMCA lobby. You will not be able to pick up your packet prior to this. 

The Shamrock Shuffle will start at the Marshall Area YMCA and finish at Brau Brothers Brewery. You can park at Brau Brothers when you arrive - we will have a van to shuttle runners from Brau to the Y for the start of the race. The last shuttle will leave Brau at 10:15am!

The Marshall Area YMCA will be open during its normal hours. The Lobby and Gymnasium will be available to warm up and wait for the race. 
There are bathrooms and locker rooms available for use.
There will be water available at the halfway point of the race. 
The route will be guided by volunteers. Please do not make any turns until a volunteer guides you! 
Portions of the race will be salted and cleared if necessary. However, roads are not closed, so please be aware of your surroundings at all times! 
The race is a fun run so it's not chip timed but there will be a timer at the finish line for you to reference.
Walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes are welcome. If you plan to walk the race, please be courteous of your fellow participants and line up near the back of the chute. This will allow those running for personal bests to get out of the chute quickly. Please tag the YMCA and let us be able to celebrate your accomplishment together!
