Mile in My Shoes' 9th Annual Downtown Run Around 5K

We are thrilled to be back at the University of Minnesota campus for a fourth year of this scenic 5K course, cheered on by the crowd and the sounds of the Mill City Running race team pep band. Join us in-person for a great event and post-race party that includes custom frosted cookie "medals", Johnny Pops and fruit, a finisher photo area, and more! Bring the kiddos for a free half-mile run. Or, join us virtually and support Mile in My Shoes Members from wherever you are! Registration opens March 1.

The Downtown Run Around celebrates the freedom to move, particularly for those who have redefined their paths through running with Mile in My Shoes. At MiMS, we believe in the transformative power of running for individuals experiencing homelessness, reintegrating after military service, exiting incarceration, and fighting addiction. Join us on June 7 as we celebrate the resilience and determination of all runners who have embraced the freedom to move forward one mile at a time.
