2024 Freezin' for a Reason 5k

Participate in the University of Minnesota Science and Engineering Student Board's annual 5K run on Friday, November 22!  Registration includes post-run hot chocolate, snacks, NMDP merch, and a long-sleeve athletic Freezin' for a Reason T-shirt. SESB members will time the event.

This year's Freezin' for a Reason 5k benefits NMDP, a charity dedicated to connecting patients with blood cancers and disorders to donors for bone marrow and stem cell transplants.

Race check-in and bag check will occur in Bruininks Hall, room 230, starting at 2:30 PM. Participants will be expected to be ready at the start at 3:25 PM, and the race will begin at 3:30 PM. Post-event hot chocolate and snacks will be provided in Bruininks Hall, room 230. 

Early bird pricing ends November 15, after which the rate will increase from $10 to $15.
