New Date: October 11th, 2020
Rescheduled for 10/11/2020.
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.
Staggered start. Beware of your start time and get checked in prior to your starting time. Groups will be sent off every three minutes. No need to group up for the start. Your time will start when you cross the start mat. Start when the distancing is comfortable for you.
The finish and start for the 7K have changed. Both the 7K and 3.5K will start near the West parking lot entrance. The finish will not be up by the building but in the lower portion of the parking lot. This will allow for more social distancing.
Please park along the road. The Oak's will have a full golf schedule and the Oak's parking should be reserved for golf patrons only.
Starting at 8am In front of the Oak's at Eagle Creek.
By your start time should have your bib number attached on the front of your shirt just above the waist to get the best read-rate. Bibs located anywhere else will have a lower read-rate. Bib numbers need to be visible when you cross the finish line.
Find your group near the starting line.
Example: 9:00 start time runners will look for a sign stating 9:00. Collect near the sign being cautious of social distancing. (6FT) A volunteer will check bibs numbers prior to your start time. You will follow the volunteer to the start line and be sent off at your designated time.
Plan to be at the starting line ten minutes ahead of your start time. Please limit the time you are at the event prior to the race. A disposable mask will be provided in your packet. You are encouraged to wear the mask up until the start time. A trash can will be available at the start to dispose of your mask.
For your safety we encourage you to bring your own liquids for the race.
Water stops will be self-serve.
Bottles will be available for pickup at the water stop (water only). Trash cans will be spaced along the course. Please DO NOT drop bottles on the course. Please carry the bottle to the nearest trash can.
Upon finishing the race, the normal buffet has been replaced with a pre-packaged sack brunch. The bar will be open for service until about 1pm depending on traffic. We encourage you to make use of the outdoor deck. Please adhere to all social distancing rules of a normal restaurant setting.
Times will be available on-line at www.pickleevents.com .
The award winners will be posted on-line as well. Please check your information right away and inform us of any errors immediately.
Awards can be picked up outside in front of the Oak's around 10:30am. Sorry, but we will not post results at the event or have a formal awards presentation so as not to created a crowed situation.
