2024 LOTO Turkey Trot

The Lake Area Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2024 will be the 15th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie.

This year we are adding a one mile fun run for kids and adults who don't want to do the full 5k course.

The fun run begins at 7:45, the 5k at 8:30. Walk-up registration will open at 7:00am.

Hosted by FundRuns and all profits go to Lake Area food pantries and Camdenton Cross Country team.

5k registration cost:
Through November 7: $25 (shirt provided)
November 8-26: $25 (no shirt provided) Extra shirts have been ordered and will be given away as long as they are available on race morning.
Race Day Registration - $30 (no shirt provided)

Fun run registration cost:
Through November 7: $20 (shirt provided)

FAMILY DISCOUNT:  Because this is a family event, we want to make it as reasonable as possible Register 4 or more people and save $15. You must register all 4 at the same time for the discount to be automatically applied.

There will be no awards for the fun run. Children completing the event will receive a finishers item (to be determined).

5k Awards

Overall Male & Female winners receive a plaque, a cash prize & free race entry the following year.

Men's and Women's Divisions awards are given in the following age groups:15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.

First in each division receives a gift card. Second and third place receive a pie.

For boys and girls in the following age groups medals are given: 10 & under, 11-14.
