Description
Welcome to the 8th Annual Clinton Historic Half Marathon & 5K! The course will take you along a variety of historical landmarks in Clinton, MO such as the Anheuser-Busch building, Artesian Park, and the beautiful downtown Clinton Square!
Participants will receive a short-sleeve soft cotton race shirt, custom bib number (personalized for half marathon participants) and a great finisher's medal.

Awards will be given to the overall male and female, overall masters male and female and the top three in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
There is a time limit of 4 hours for the half marathon. Any runners/walkers on the course past 11:00 am run at their own risk with the potential of there no longer being water stations, course volunteers and your time may not be recorded. However, we will be happy to still reward you with a medal when you finish!
In the half marathon, overall male and female will receive a $200 cash prize!!
Register by June 5 to guarantee a shirt!
Packet pickup will be available at the following times and location.
Friday, June 14 - 4-7 pm at the Clinton Rotary Building
Race Day - 6:00-7:15 am on the Gazebo near the start line.
The Clinton Rotary Building is located at 200 W. Franklin Street on the Clinton Square.
A reminder that the Half Marathon starts at 7:00 am and the 5k will start at 7:30 am.

FAQ
Q: Is there a time limit?
A: Yes. The city restricts us to finish by 11:00 am, so we have a time limit of 4 hours.
Q: Can I start earlier than 7:00 am?
A: No. All half marathon runners must start at the 7:00 start time. 5k starts at 7:30 am.
Q: Can I do this as a virtual race?
A: We are not offering a virtual option for the 2024 race.
Q: If I am unable to run in the race, can I still pick up my shirt?
A: Yes. Please stop by and pick up your bib and race shirt at packet pickup. Shirts will NOT be mailed.
Q: Will there be food and drinks at the end?
A: Yes, we will have a variety of food and drinks for all participants at the end of the race.
Q: What if it rains?
A: We will run in the rain, cold or snow. However, if it is unsafe to run/walk, the race director reserves the right to cancel the race.
Q: What if I am unable to attend? Can I get a refund?
A: There will be no refunds of registration fees for the race for any reason.
Q:What if my name is spelled wrong, my age is wrong, etc.?
A: Email jlbarnes44@gmail.com to make the necessary changes to your registration.
Q: I won’t be able to participate. May I defer my registration to next year or transfer it to a friend?
A: We do not allow deferral of registrations to next year, there are no refunds and no transfers.

Q: Can a friend or family member pick up my packet?
A: Yes
Q: Are participants allowed to push strollers in the race?
A: Yes. However, be aware that there are a number of areas that cross railroad tracks which will not be easy for a stroller to cross. There is also part of the course on the Katy Trail, which is pea gravel and very narrow.
Q: Is there a bag check?
A: No. Parking is available in close proximity to the start/finish line so you should be able to leave your things in your car.
