Description

The Brain Injury Foundation of St. Louis (BIFSTL) is a provider of employment services for people who have sustained a brain injury.  BIFSTL is a proud provider to our Wounded Warriors and offers brain injury psychotherapy to individuals and their families.

Join us for BIFSTL’s 3rd Annual "Brain Bolt" 5k, benefiting the Dura Mater Clubhouse, a brain injury clubhouse dedicated to providing support and resources for individuals who have sustained brain injuries. This family-friendly event will take place on March 29th at Creve Coeur Lake Park and is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to have fun and support a great cause, this event is for you!

All proceeds from the Brain Bolt 5k will directly benefit the Dura Mater Clubhouse, helping to provide a nurturing and welcoming space for our members to thrive. The Clubhouse's mission is to empower its members to cultivate their independence, achieve personal growth, and actively participate in their community.

So, lace up your running shoes, gather your friends and family, and join us for the Brain Bolt 5k.

You may pick up your packet at Big River Running Company - 14047 Manchester Road, 63011, on March 28th from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. Race day packet pick up will be available about an hour before the event.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in these age group categories:
1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

Course

Here is this year's new course at Creve Coeur Lake Park! This will be a super flat and easy out and back course along the bike path beside the lake. Please note that the bike path and park will be open to the public, so stay to the right when not passing, and be alert for other runners, walkers, and cyclists. The one mile will go out the same way with the 5k, but will turn around when they reach half a mile.
