Stand and Salute 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us on July 6th for the 4th annual Stand and Salute Run in partnership with the Mickey Owen Baseball School Stand and Salute Slam! All proceeds from the Stand and Salute 5k Race and 1 Mile Fun Run benefit the Miller High School Military Honor Committee. This committee is dedicated to honoring military veterans and those currently serving. All paying participants will receive a T-Shirt if registered by June 20, 2024. If you register after June 20th and would like a T-shirt, email cpoirot@millerschools.org. We will hold a shirt back for you if we have your size available. 

Awards will be given to top 5K finishers in varying age groups.

The race is located at Mickey Owen Baseball Field this year. Gates open at 6:30am and the run starts at 7:30am.

This event is more than just a run! Bring the whole family to run/walk, watch co-ed softball, and participate in activities throughout the day.
