⚡ Feel the electric energy of the Downtown Mile! ⚡ Join us on a warm July evening as Springfield’s streets transform into a thrilling, closed-road raceway. Runners of all ages and abilities will start in waves that match their speed, ensuring everyone feels the summer night magic at their own pace. Whether you’re chasing a personal record on the near pancake course or just enjoying the quick course in the summer night air- the Downtown Mile is your chance to light up the streets and celebrate community, competition, and fun!

Heats
During registration you will choose to join one of the following heats. Please join the most applicable heat.
- Open (all ages, all abilities)
- Competitive Youth (13 & Under)
- Competitive Teen (14-18) M: under 6min Mile, F: under 6:30min Mile
- Competitive Adult (19+) M: under 6:15min Mile, F: under 7:00 mile
- Men's Elite (19+) under 4:30min Mile
- Women's Elite (19+) under 5:15min Mile
