Rules of Competition
It is important to note the rules governing Draft Legal Events that are Sanctioned by USAT, are the World Triathlon Rules of Competition. There are however several dispensations that are outlined in the USAT Draft Legal Equipment and Rules Checklist, which can be found at usatriathlon.org. These dispensations are centered around uniform and equipment requirements to help make participation accessible to more people. It is your responsibility as an athlete, a coach and even the parents to know the rules. The time for questions about the rules is before the competition.
