In 2015 a sophomore girl at Troy Buchanan High School had a passion to help the community by having a 5K. She created the Dream Run to support the Troy Dream Center (TDC). She chose the TDC to be the beneficiary because of their commitment to helping the community through community service and a men’s recovery home.
The Dream Run is back! This year is the 5th annual Dream Run so come out and support the TDC by running or walking in the Dream Run.
This year we will holding our run on Saturday, October 22nd at 8:00am. With a 1-mile walk and 5K run, there's something for everyone! The 5K will start promptly at 8:00am, and the 1 Mile will start at 8:30am. Stick around afterward for the post-race festival. Each participant will receive a race shirt. 5K participants will receive a finisher medal.
The Troy Dream Center (TDC) is a faith-based men’s residential recovery home in Lincoln County Missouri. The TDC focuses on supporting men who are overcoming life-controlling issues such as recovering from drug and alcohol addictions, depression, and abuse. They have created a place where men can receive help, hope & healing for a healthy foundation to rebuild their lives. The program is free of charge to its residents.
