Run for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Outpost

Run for Wildlife Rehabilitation Outpost on February 24, 2024 @ 8:00 AM- this is a FREE 5k run/walk social run that starts and ends at the Mockingbird Cafe! Please bring a requested item or cash donations as your registration fee. This event is co-sponsored with our friends at Mockingbird Cafe and benefits our friends at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Outpost! All participants with a donation will receive a free mimosa or juice after the run/walk.

The wildlife of Hancock County is fortunate to have Joshua Holland and the network he has built of family, friends, and caring individuals, fighting to rescue and nurture injured and sick animals back to health so that they may return to their natural habitats. Holland has been involved in rehabilitation efforts to re-home native wildlife for just over two years. ​
