Mad Dash to Mardi Gras

4th Annual Mad Dash to Mardi Gras

5k run, 2 mile walk, 1 mile Fun Run and Masked Runner

Saturday, February 10, 2018 @ 8 am Kamper Park in Hattiesburg

(Parade begins at 11am in Hattiesburg)

Hosted by the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary of Hattiesburg

In association with Keith's Superstores Caerus Mardi Gras Parade

Timing Services provided by Diva Timing

All proceeds to benefit new sports equipment and playground equipment for the Boys and Girls Club.

Time: 8am 5k and 2 mile walk begins. Fun Run to follow. Registration begins at 7 am race day.

Course: The race begins near the large pavilion in Kamper Park. Participants will run in the Avenues surrounding the park located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Strollers are welcomed.

Awards: 5K Run: Overall Winners (male and female)                                                                                             

1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female in age groups:      

0-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

2 mile walk: Overall top 3 finishers

Fun Run Participants

We encourage you to come dressed in your favorite Mardi Gras attire!                                                                                                  

Masked Runner:  If you cannot make the event, but would like to help support the Mad Dash to Mardi Gras, you may be a masked runner for $20 until 02/03/2018. The cost is $25 from 02/04/2018-02/12/2018.  A masked runner will receive a t-shirt by mail within 2 weeks after the race. 

Entry Fees: Pre-registration by 02/03/2018 is $25
                                                02/04/2018-day of race is $30  

Kids' Fun Run: (for children 12 and under) $10 Pre-registration (with T-shirt) and FREE (No T-shirt)

T-shirts:

A t-shirt (custom designed by a Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club member) is guaranteed on race day to those that pre-register by 02/03/18. T-shirt not guaranteed for those registering after this date thru race day.
