Description
Experience The Ford Foundation's inaugural Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Town Square Park. This exciting event features a 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run. The race takes you through the picturesque Downtown Hattiesburg, culminating in a grand finish at Town Square Park.
This is a great event for the entire family. All proceeds from the race benefit the Build Better Scholarship, we partnered with Pearl River Community College to bring tuition relief to single parents and children raised in single parent homes.
Both races will offer same-day registration, but runners who sign up after October 31st are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Packet pickup will be on Friday, November 22nd, at Adwoa Pairc, located at 2200 Hardy Street Suite 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Packets may also be picked up from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on race day at Town Square Park.
Compete for a Turkey! Vouchers for a free Turkey will be given to overall male and female for each race, as well as the top male and female finishers in each age group for the 5K.
