NON - Runners / Family Members of Runners
For attendees who are not-participating in the 5K, admission to the Light Show can be purchased separately here. (Click image to purchase tickets for non-runners.)
In order to keep the running path clear, those not participating in the 5K (who have purchased tickets) will wait in the stage area and playgound area.

Join us on Dec 19th for a 5K run through Light Garden benefitting Make A Wish.
Admission to Light Garden is included for FREE for all 5K participants.
The run through Light Garden will start at 5:30pm.

EVENT UPDATES 12/16/25
Our team is so very excited to host you at the upcoming LIGHT GARDEN Charity 5K!
Your support for this event, and for Make-A-Wish, has been overwhelming. We are rapidly adapting to the still increasing attendance anticipated for Friday Evening.
We have updated our 5K route to better accommodate the more than 350+ Runners and Walkers that are participating in the event.
A HUGE Thank you to the OBPD and City Park Team for making these changes possible.
PARKING
Enter Olive Branch City Park from 305 on College St. (Near the Piggly Wiggly).
Drive into the park until you cross under the Light Garden Arch. There is parking near the running track and Baseball Complex A.
RACE START
Please be near the stage or starting line by 5:30 for the singing of the National Anthem. THE RACE MUST START PROMPTLY AT 5:45 in coordination with the OBPD.
Updates and Changes
To ensure that this experience is as magical as possible for all of the Runners, Walkers, and Light Show attendees, we are making the following changes and adjustments.
- We are opening more dates for Check-In (See Below)
- Participation in the 5K will be capped at 400 total participants.
- Day-Of Registrations will not be permitted.
- The Light Show will not be open to the public until 7pm.
- ONLY registered runners/walkers and Ticket Holding Family Members/Friends will be allowed into the event before 7pm.
CHECK-IN
Light Garden will be opening up Check-In for Runners and Walkers for the 5k starting Tomorrow (WED) at 6pm-10pm, Thursday 6pm-10pm, and Friday 4pm-5:20pm. Simply go the ticketing gate to check-in and collect your race bib.
DO NOT LOSE YOUR BIB - It is not just your timing chip, it is also your ticket to the event.
T-Shirts
For participants who purchased shirts. Your shirts will only be available for pick up on Friday at the event between 4pm and 10pm.
If you would like to run or walk in your shirt please come early to ensure you have time to collect and change.
If you do not need to run in your shirt, please pick it up after the race or while you are waiting for the award ceremony.
The Shirt pickup booth will be hosted by SKY LAKE Construction near the Stage and Food Trucks.
