Lubrecht 10K and 20K

The Lubrecht 20K is Western Montana's newest ski event offering something for all ages and abilities. Afraid your climbing muscles will be too tired from rando racing at Snowbowl and the Seeley Lake OSCR? Not to worry! This course will feature varied terrain that includes flats, rolling hills and a couple short but steep climbs. There will also be a 3.5 km youth race with both skate and classic options. 

Updates for 2022
We have a solid base at Lubrecht and there will be plenty of snow for our event, but due to logging, we've had to later our course slightly from 2020. This year will feature a 5 km loop with rolling hills that over 118 ft of climbing per lap (2 laps for 10km, 4 laps for 20km). 

We will have a feed station for racers and post-race hot chocolate and cookies provided by our sponsors at Five Valleys Land Trust and Burn Street Bistro. The kitchen is closed this year for COVID precautions, so unfortunately we will not be able to offer post-race soup. Please plan accordingly. 

If you are feeling sick on race day (even if it's just a cold) please stay home. We are happy to refund your race registration in the event of illness. 

Please do your part in keeping our ski community healthy by getting vaccinated and wearing masks in public indoor spaces. 

The Missoula Nordic Ski Club is a non-profit, volunteer led organization. All proceeds from the Lubrecht Race go towards supporting community based ski opportunities in Missoula and the surrounding area.
