Skills & Thrills Clinic and Practice Race
A chance to get the pre-race nerves out of your system, and work on some CX skills before the series kicks off! Choose either the skills clinic, practice race, or both to get ready for the Missoula CX Wednesday Night Race Series. Choose your skill level you for where you want to work, and where you want to race, between beginner (C) (first year racing!), intermediate (B) (I've done CX before but haven't been out much this year), or advanced (A) (I've been training for a month and am ready to bunny-hop over all the barriers!).
Where: Missoula! Maverick Stadium off of Tower and Spurgin
When: Saturday, September 17th, 8-12.
Schedule:
- 7:30am check in and registration
- 8-10 Skills Practice
- 10-12 Practice Race
Cost: $20 for individual Skills or Practice Race
$35 for both
SKILLS CLINIC
8am - 12pm. 5 stations spread across the park, each station will work on a specific part of cyclocross. Starts. Barriers. Cornering. Nutrition/Training. Running. You will be in small groups based on the category you entered.
PRACTICE RACE
- 10:15am - C Category - 25 minutes
- 11:00am - A Category - 45 minutes
- 11:01am - B Category - 45 minutes
Top 10 recognized in each category. Results will be uploaded to crossresults.com
