Mangum Elementary 5K & Fun Run

We are proud to partner with Bahama Days to host our 4th Annual Mangum 5k and Fun Run. We are also excited to partner with Lucas Middle School. The race will start and end at Mangum Elementary. All roads that we will travel on will be block off with help from the Durham Sheriff's Department. We will have first aid kits available. 

Course Route:

• Fun Run: The race will start on the carpool loop in front of Mangum Elementary School. Runners will head out of the parking lot and turn right onto Quail Roost Rd. Runners will continue down the road and turn left onto Ball Rd. Once on Ball Rd. Fun Run participants will run to first barn on the left hand side and turn around heading back to the school. 
• 5k: The race will start on the carpool loop in front of Mangum Elementary School. Runners will head out of the parking lot and turn right onto Quail Roost Rd. Runners will continue down the road and turn left onto Ball Rd. Once on Ball Rd. Runners will run until they see orange traffic cones (1.5 miles) then turn around and head back to Mangum Elementary. 

Parking: Parking will available on site. Overflow parking will be on the Big Tree playground and the field below Mangum. 

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for the overall 5k winner and the 5k winners of each age group (0-12, 13-25, 26-35, 35 and up)
