Description

Now entering its 6th year, the JFS Friends Run is a great Mother’s Day activity for the entire family. The chip-timed 5k and 10k involves a scenic and challenging route through South Charlotte’s Lansdowne community, while the 1-mile event gives each member of the family the opportunity to participate.

Bundled with an exciting Kids Zone featuring bouncy houses, face painting, free food and entertainment, and a Moms Zone!

KIDS ZONE Bring out the entire family and let the kids play in our Kids Zone before and after the race! Featuring bouncy houses, face painting, free food and entertainment for all ages!

MOMS ZONE It's Mother’s Day so pamper mom on her special day in the Friends Run Moms Zone! Moms are the stars in this zone, so treat her to mimosas, massages and more!

Babysitting Available All ages are invited to participate in the race, including kids in strollers, but for those who like to race without worrying about their little ones, the Levine JCC invites members and non-members to use their babysitting room. Make a reservation by May 1 by calling 704-366-5007. The hourly rate is $4.50 per hour. The room will open at 7:30 am. Capacity restrictions apply.
