Like many of you, we have been heartbroken by the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, especially here in the mountains of western North Carolina. Our neighbors need our help and we know that the running community is a caring, compassionate group - so let's get started!
TWO WAYS WE'RE PARTNERING WITH YOU TO HELP OUT:
- $5 from every Noon Year's Eve 5K registration between Oct 1st - 31st will be donated to the United Way of the Carolina's UW Helps NC Fund
- During registration, you'll have the opportunity to donate more if you're able. We will then match up to $500 in total participant donations collected during the month of October.

It's time to say goodbye to '24 – but not before one last 5K! Join us for the 2nd Annual Charlotte NOON Year's Eve 5K at McAlpine Creek Park. This is your chance to compete on the spectacular Larry McAfee Cross Country trail at McAlpine - a certified 5K race course!
Competition not your thing? That's ok too! All are welcome. Runners, walkers, families. You name it. This is an inclusive event that is sure to be the next great holiday 5K run or walk in Charlotte!

Part of the joy in running or walking a 5K is the awesome swag, right? We've got you covered. Each participant will receive a finisher medal, tri-blend long sleeve race tshirt, and free food and drinks after the race!
RUN THE LAST MILE.
We know the feeling. You want to squeeze in a few more miles before the big New Year's celebration.
In addition to receiving an official time for the 5K, all participants will be timed for the LAST MILE. Before the ball drops, do you have what it takes to finish your last mile of 2023 in style? The top 3 male and female finishers in the last mile will receive a NOON Year's Eve Last Mile Blanket!
