Our long awaited 5th annual RescueMe 5k benefiting our Shelter to Service Program, Operation Sidekick, will finally be here again October of 2021! With COVID-19, permitting, and every hiccup that came with 2020, we had to postpone our favorite event. As much as we knew we could offer just a virtual event in 2020, and we have virtual supporters, we know that the reason you all love this event so much is that you can bring your dogs in-person!
The great news about this event being in October of 2021 is that we now have more time to grow this race exponentially and raise more funds for our service dogs in training for our veterans with PTSD!
Throughout the remainder of 2020 and into 2021, we will also be hosting our RunsWithDogs Club to socially charge participants not just locally, but across the US to get back out there once safe, grab your dogs, grab your friends, and run the outdoors! We'll be giving away prizes all the way up to the 2021 race to our fans out there making the most of this delay, through the RunsWithDogs Club!
As for the event itself, you can expect what you've come to love at the RescueMe 5k - a great run/walk with your dog, adoptable animals, games, prizes, vendors, beer, and fun to be had!
We can't wait to see you all in person! Until then - we'll be as tight knit as virtually socially possible!
