Description
This chip-timed event will coincide with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Independence Day celebration and fireworks show. The race will begin at the Tribal Fairgrounds in Cherokee, North Carolina and follow a scenic course along well-lit streets. It will proceed through downtown Cherokee toward Harrah's Casino with one water stop at the halfway mark (turn around point). Chip timing will be supervised by Lee Timing.

Medals Awarded
Medals will be awarded based on age groupds: 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+; Masters male & female and male & female overall. First 150 runners will receive a tee-shirt.
