Description
Join your friends and neighbors for the 16th Annual Laurel Park Turkey Day 5k/Fun Run! This non-competitive charity event is open to everyone. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome.
In response to Hurricane Helene, all proceeds from this year's event will be donated to MANNA FoodBank. Based in Asheville, NC, this non-profit organization is committed to serving communities across 16 counties of Western North Carolina. They provide food with hope and dignity to people experiencing hunger in their 6,434 square-mile region. We will also be collecting items for the Cooperative Christian Ministry Food Pantry.
Entry Fees*
- Adults 13 and up: $25
- Children 5 - 12: $15
- Ages 0 - 4: Free, No shirt
- Shirt Only: no longer available
*Entry fees increase by $5.00 after November 13.
Register by November 13 to be guaranteed a shirt. Limited shirts available while supplies last.
In-person Registration and Packet Pickup
- Online registration closes November 25.
- In-person registration and packet pickup will be November 27 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM and November 28 from 7:30 - 8:15 AM at the Laurel Park clubhouse.
Race Details
- The 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 AM.

Introducing the Toddler Trot!
Festivities will start with a Toddler Trot (250 yards) at 8:15 AM. Participation is free and everyone receives a medal. To receive a shirt, register for the Shirt Only event.
Cancellation Statement
There are NO refunds of registration fees. This event will occur rain or shine, warm or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a charitable donation. You will also be able to pick up your race packets.
