Join us for an awesome event with activities for all ages. The Streetlight 5k & Frolic will be on Friday, July 11th in Downtown Concord. The Road Race route is down Union Street South to Oakland Ave, around R Brown Elementary School, right on Union, back to the finish in Downtown.
Frolic (6:30pm to 9:30pm): Get ready to light up the night with our glow theme and electrifying fun! The Street Light 5K festival will include inflatables, balloon artists, LED seesaws and a silent disco where glowing headphones will lead you to dance to the DJs curated beats!
SPEED FOR NEED - Riders with a special need in a customized racing wheelchairs to help them complete the Streetlight 5k. The mission is to raise awareness and foster inclusion. Speed for Need provides the wheelchair and the runner. If you would like to reserve a racing wheelchair, please contact Zack Roehrs at roehrsz@concordnc.gov.
Awards will given to the overall top three male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.
Fun Run (1 Mile): 7pm
5k Begins: 7:30pm
Register by June 20th to be guaranteed an awesome t-shirt!
Race Day Registration: Increases price of $10 on race day and while supplies last for all registrations after June 20th.
(CARD ONLY ON RACE DAY). Registration is done via QR code at the event.
