NC PRIDE 5K RUN

Totally wacky and gay fun 5K run and walk in the morning at the NC Pride Festival - Saturday September 24th.  For all friends and LGBT supporters on the safe walled running path around Duke East Campus. Feel free to wear your colorful rainbow outfits.  Categories: Open Male/Female, Masters(over 40)Male/Female.  

The race will start at the corner of West Main and Campus Drive at 8:30am - there will be a tent and starting race Flags and the race will proceed east around the running track of Duke East Campus until it comes back to campus Drive where it will circle and return on the same track back to the start which will also be the finish.

Parking for NC Pride 5k run:

Parking on and around Duke East Campus is limited and usually hard to find. We would suggest parking a few blocks away in the Ninth/Broad street district and walking or taking the Durham Bus system Route # 11 that runs from Duke Hospital/VA along Hillsborough Road and makes a stop at Buchanan Blvd next to the Festival Grounds Duke East Campus. Cost is $25 before Sept. 22, then $30 Race Day registration

Packet Pickup: Friday Sept 23 at 9th street active footwear..725 Iredell St, Durham from 2pm till 7pm
