FRC's only trail race is back!
The trail race that you all loved last year will be putting you out in the woods once again! Come on out and get the fourth year shirts and coins. Each year is a unique specially designed race logo featuring our friends, the Deerfly. They've missed you!  

Who will wear the crowns this year?!👸🤴

We will start the dogs about 10 minutes after the runners. It is chip timed so you will still get only the time it takes for you to finish.

The race is capped at 200 runners.  Our sole sponsor is Heckler Brewing Company. Come to packet pickup and enjoy some good times on Friday night October 18.

RACE SWAG

Race Shirt:  
Participants who register by Oct 3rd, 2024 will receive a shirt in their registered size.   Participants who register after that date, can choose from remaining sizes.

Pint Glasses & Challenge Coins:
The FRC Deerfly Trail Race will also be giving away Pint Glasses and Challenge Coins.

THE COURSE

Carvers Creek State Park - Sandhills Access
995 McCloskey Road
Fayetteville, NC 28311

The FRC Deerfly Trail Run is an 11K and 6K through the Sandhills portion of Carvers Creek State Park.  The course offers scenic running through longleaf pine forests.

During your visit, you will likely see the active red-cockaded woodpecker trees (marked with a white band) and you may even see a fox squirrel scampering off into the woods.
