THE RACE


The Red Apple Run for Diabetes is a 5K and 10K race through Carvers Creek State Park in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Join us as we get together during National Diabetes Month to help raise awareness and support. All participants receive a finisher medal at the finish line.

All Red Apple Run for Diabetes finishers receive a Finisher Medal. Red Apple Run Beanies will be available for participants on a first-come, first-served basis. 

THE COURSE


Carvers Creek State Park - Sandhills Access
995 McCloskey Road
Fayetteville, NC 28311

The Red Apple Run for Diabetes is a 5K and 10K through the Sandhills portion of Carvers Creek State Park. The course offers scenic running through longleaf pine forests.
Strollers are discouraged due to the nature of the trails.

To get to the park: Go north on Ramsey Street and turn left across from Long Hill Elementary on McCloskey Road.  You cannot enter from Spring Lake Park entrance.

THE CAUSE


The Red Apple Run for Diabetes supports Better Health, an organization providing Diabetes Education Programs to those in need. An American Diabetes Association recognized program, the services include free diabetes supplies, nutritional counseling, classes and more! Come out to help make our community healthier!
