THE RACE

The Friends of Civil Affairs (FOCA) Around the World Run is a 5K/10K event dedicated to the global mission of Civil Affairs Soldiers and their Families. The Around the World Run raises money for the FOCA Scholarship Fund that awards merit and needs-based scholarships to spouses and children. The event will take place virtually. Participants can run and submit their results anytime and anywhere between August 21 and August 28, 2021!

RACE SWAG

An Around the World Run shirt is guaranteed to ALL registered participants! Sizes: Youth S-L & Adult S-XL. 

Participants have the option to pickup their shirt at an in-person pick up, or have their shirt mailed.

HOW IT WORKS

WHERE:
Anywhere in the World!

Some people have run their race in Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Germany, and many other locations.  The most unique was while quarantined in a hotel in Thailand.

WHEN:
Run anytime between August 21 and August 28, 2021.

SUBMIT YOUR FINISH TIME:
After your race, visit this website and click on RESULTS.  From there you can submit your finish time.

Friends of Civil Affairs (FOCA) is a 501(C)(19) Veterans Organization that supports the morale and welfare of the Soldiers and Families of the Active Component Civil Affairs Regiment. Support is provided through Scholarships, Soldier Programs, Family Programs, and a Memorial Fund.
