Moonlight, Moonshine, and Music.

This isn't just a race, this is a race, a party, a concert all in one!

After a great race in 2023 at Haw River State Park, we will again be running on those amazing trails in 2024!! Follow the sound of the music and hundreds of LED candles on the trail to find your way to the finish line where you will be treated to bluegrass, moonshine cocktails/mocktails, finishers mason jar glasses, and some of the best 5K prizes!

For those new to Bootleggin’, this race takes place after dark. Athletes must have a headlamp or flashlight. We will put out 300+ tea lights along this well-marked trail so you never have to worry about getting lost. 

What's Included in Registration?

• Custom Bootlegger 5K shirt (Register at least 2 weeks before race day to guarantee a shirt.)
• 2 tickets for post-race moonshine cocktails or mocktails
• Post-race food
• Pre and post-race bluegrass and old timey music
• Commemorative moonshine mason jar to enjoy your cocktail in!
