5K Run/Walk (No Shirt, No Chip) - FREE

Just come out, run or walk, and enjoy the fun!

No registration or fee is required

We've partnered with a local race company again this year to provide chip timing for the 5k. We kept the registration fee to a minimum just to cover costs (timing and shirt).  This year if you register for the event, you will get a t-shirt as long as you register by November 10th. You will NOT get a chip to run the race unless you register and pay the $20 Fee. There will be no registration after November 10th and no T-shirts available. This is a fundraising event, and we will be asking for donations for the local charity (either through registration or on race day). 

Please register everyone who will be participating, so we can plan the event accordingly (i.e., kids fun run has finisher medals for all, so we need to know how many kids will be there).

You must register by November 10th to be guaranteed a shirt.

Event details:

7:00am - Packet pick-up 

8:00am - Kids fun run

8:30am - 5k (Timed and non-timed)

Benefactors:

100% of proceeds will go to the local charity, A Giving Spirit Foundation.

A Giving Spirit Foundation (AGSF) is a Lake Norman based charity that provides financial assistance to Charlotte-area mothers facing a medical crisis.  Since 2008, AGSF has provided nearly $400,000 in grants to help women pay for family expenses such as medical bills, utilities, groceries, and rent.  We are an entirely volunteer based organization and are thankful for the support of our local community to help these moms in need!

5k Course Description:

Start at Club Entrance on Northstone Drive, proceed around the Northstone Drive circle to Cadgwith Cove, then turn right on Northstone Drive to Willington Drive. Proceed down Willingdon and turn around at Ulsten Drive and back down Willington Drive and back to Club Entrance on Northstone Drive.
