Description
This will be a community wide 5K and fun run to benefit and support the Mount Holly Middle School PTO and Ida Rankin PTA.
Event Information: On March 01, 2025, the streets of Mt. Holly are about to be swarmed with the St. Patrick's Day themed attire. Get out your most fun and/or embarrassing, awe inspiring St. Patrick's garments and join us in downtown Mt. Holly. The Mount Holly Middle School and Rankin Elementary Shamrock Shuffle 5k and Leprechaun Leap 2K are produced by a collaboration of the Mount Holly Middle School PTO and Rankin Elementary PTA to raise funds to support the awesome students and staff at Mount Holly Middle School and Rankin Elementary. We would love to have you join us to support our PTO and PTA – feel free to hit the 5k or 2k course festive costuming or not. We can’t wait to see everyone’s smiling faces as they cross the Finish Line.
Awards: The Shamrock Shuffle 5k is a timed event and our awards structure will be for as follows: 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place for 8 and under, 11 and under, 12-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34 (continuing in 5 year increments until 59), and 60 and over - Male and Female overall for ages 11 and under, 17 and under, 18-60, 60+ (to be pulled from individual age groups).
The Leprechaun Leap 2k is an untimed event with no awards.

Police will restrict traffic where appropriate and both police and volunteers will be located at intersections to provide directional assistance. The map below is for your reference as to the streets on which the run will occur not the order in which the route will be run.
