All 5k Participants will receive a RACE THEMED SHIRT

Beneficiary: This event will support our community and the Dare County High School Track Teams, Go Far, and OBX SPCA.
Special Note: Barrier Island Running Events will be assisting with the 2024 Gobbler. Starting in 2025, they will be putting on this Thanksgiving Day Gobbler race.
Registration: Online registration will close at Midnight on Sunday 11/24/24. There will be no packet pickup or race day registration.
Race Day packet pick-up:
Available from 7:00-7:45 am on-site near HomeGoods, just north of the Food Lion.
At 7:30 am we will be handing out bibs only with shirts available for pickup after the race. Make sure that you are in line early, in the past we started the race late and the volunteers working packet pickup were unable to participate in the race, so even if you are in line before 7:30, we will be handing out only bibs starting at 7:30...
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, please help us help our community members in need - your donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items will be collected and delivered to our local food pantry, thank you!
Parking: Outer Banks Mall, 5000 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head (Milepost 14.5 on 158). No parking is allowed at the Food Lion (they will be open) or the Outback Steakhouse. Directions: http://nagsheadshopping.com/location/
Post-race Hospitality: Light breakfast provided by Treehouse Coffee Co., for registered participants only. No alcohol is permitted.
Refunds/Transfers/Inclement Weather: This is a fundraising event and there will be no refunds or transfers. The race will be held rain or shine, but may be delayed or cancelled in the event of unsafe weather conditions (ex. lightning).
