Teens With A Mission (TWAM) 5K And Super Hero 1/2 Mile Fun Run

Friday, May 12th at 7:30 pm for the Fun Run and 8 pm for the TWAM 5K.  Join us for the 11th annual TWAM 5k and Fun Run. This event will start and finish at First Presbyterian Church. The beautiful, USATF certified course winds throughout historic, downtown Salisbury and is designed to appeal to all levels of runners (joggers, competitive, and elite) as well as walkers.  Our Super Hero 1/2 Mile Fun Run makes this a true family event.  It is not to be missed!  Fun Run participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite super hero costume but it is not required to participate. All fun run and 5K race participants will receive a t-shirt, swag bag, post-race refreshments, and entry into the largest 5K door prize give-a-way.  This is a must attend event! Great Atmosphere! Great Race Support! And A Flat and Fast Race Course through one of North Carolina’s most historic cities.    

All proceeds from this event support the work of Teens with A Mission (TWAM), a high school mission team traveling to Mexico in July 2017 to build and furnish two houses for families in need. TWAM also volunteers locally at Rowan Helping Ministries and Severierville Tennesee to serve victims of this past years fires.
