Description
Friend to Friend proudly presents our 10th annual 5K!
Start your weekend on a high note at the Rise & Run 5K. Race, walk, or jog your way through a scenic trail course with natural terrain that keeps things fun and adventurous. Then celebrate with live music, great food trucks, and a packed kids corner. Little runners can join the excitement in the Kids Fun Run for ages 10 & under.
Bring the energy, bring your friends, and rise with us for a morning that feels good and does good.
All proceeds support Friend to Friend and their work empowering survivors in our community.
Registrations on or before 4/1 will be guaranteed a t-shirt. All registrations after that date will receive a shirt if available.
Kids Fun Run (Ages 10 & Under)
We’re excited to offer a Kids Fun Run as part of this year’s Rise & Run 5K! This shorter, kid-friendly course is designed especially for children ages 10 and under who want to be part of the race-day excitement.
The Kids Fun Run will follow the first section of the official 5K route. The course will be well marked and supported by volunteers to ensure a safe and fun experience.
Every child who participates will receive a finisher medal — because crossing the finish line is always worth celebrating!

About Friend to Friend
Friend to Friend is a nonprofit agency located in Carthage, North Carolina.
Our mission is to help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking rebuild their lives.
Some of the services we provide include an emergency shelter for women & children, 24/7 crisis line, court advocacy, hospital accompaniment for adult survivors of sexual assault, support groups, and community education.
All of our services are free of charge.
