Whether you're running it or you're just looking for some entertainment, the Rock n' Run 5k satisfies all. If you're running the 5K, ditch the headphones for this one! Whiskey Pines will be staged near the start line and there will be music played throughout the course providing pump up tunes and the race culminates with a beer and concert at the finish line.
If fitness isn't your forte, come out for the festivities. Cheer on the runners, listen to some tunes, and get inspired to sign up next year.
This event is family friendly with activities for children, live music, and food trucks. Bring the whole family out to have fun and support sexual assault awareness!
The 5k starts out the Southern Pines Brewing Company, leading up through the trails at the National Athletic Village, and ending back at the SPBC.
Children 12 & under are welcome to participate in the race at no cost! If they would like to receive a t-shirt, be timed, and be eligible for an award please register them under the "Ages: 12 & Under" option!

On race day, parking will be available along the street and in the parking area at the Jordan Chapel on the corner of Air Tool Dr. and Yadkin Rd. There will be volunteers directing you where to park.
Packet pick up will be held at the Southern Pines Brewing Company on Thursday 4/23 from 5-9pm, and on race day (4/24) from 1-5:30pm.
Friend to Friend is a nonprofit agency located in Carthage, North Carolina.
Our mission is to help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking rebuild their lives.
Some of the services we provide include an emergency shelter for women & children, 24/7 crisis line, court advocacy, hospital accompaniment for adult survivors of sexual assault, support groups, and community education.
All of our services are free of charge.
