Join us on April 5, 2025, for our 5K trail race to raise Autism Awareness and support the Autism Society of North Carolina.
Register by March 18, 2025, to receive a race T-shirt!

9:00 a.m. – Packet pickup & on-site registration
10:00 a.m. – 5K Trail Race

As many as 1 in 36 children may be diagnosed with autism in the United States. You can make a difference in the lives of people with autism, their families, and their communities by registering for the Byrd and Bear 5K for Autism Awareness, donating, and recruiting family and friends to join us on April 5th!

Byrd & Bear 5K for Autism Awareness
We are hosting a 5K trail race to raise Autism Awareness.
Proceeds go to the Autism Society of North Carolina.
The race will be held on April 6, 2024 at 2659 Sandy Plains Rd, Tryon, NC US 28782.
Packet pick-up starts at 9am and race begins at 10am.
Event Sponsorship Levels
Awareness Sponsor: $1,000+
Bear Sponsor: $500 - $999
Byrd Sponsor: $100 - $499
Don’t Make Me Run: $50- $99
Awareness Sponsor $1,000+
Your company’s name and logo will be printed in extra-large font at the top of our race shirt. Your logo will also be featured on our registration website and social media sites.
Bear Sponsor $500 - $999
Your company’s name and logo will be printed in large font at the top of our race shirt. Your logo will also be featured on our registration website.
Byrd Sponsor $100 - $499
Your company’s name will be printed in medium font on our race shirt and featured on our registration website.
Don’t Make Me Run $50 - $99
Your name will be printed in small font on our race shirt.
In-Kind Donations
Your company may choose to support our race through in-kind donations. These are products or services that you would like to donate. This could be items for the runner’s gift bags, supplies (ex: Gatorade, cups, etc.), or services provided on race day. Recognition of in-kind donations will be given based on the value of the item(s) donated.

This 5K could not happen without support and help from our community. If you, your company, or group are interested in discussing volunteer opportunities, please contact us.
