The Sandling Beach Triathlon scheduled for Saturday, October 4th is ON.
We have received a few emails from folks who registered for another triathlon that was scheduled to be held at Falls Lake on 9/27 who informed us that the 9/27 race had been cancelled due to a lack of police support from the Wake County Sheriff’s Dept.
Rest assured, that having been the victim of last minute police cancellation at our Sandling Beach Triathlon in 2023, we have made alternate arrangements for law enforcement support for our 2025 race.

The final event of the year in the North Carolina Triathlon Series.
Both races take place at Sandling Beach State Recreational Area at Falls Lake.
Race Start Times
International: 8:30 am
Sprint: 8:45 am
NOTE: ALL participants, volunteers, and spectators need to be in the park NO LATER than 8:15 am.
The front gate to Sandling Beach will close at 8:15 am and nobody will be allowed to enter after that time.

Swim: 750 meters
Bike: 20 Miles
Run: 3 Miles
International:
Swim: 1500 meters
Bike: 25 miles
Run: 6 Miles
