Half Marathon is run; 4 miler is optional walk/run
The fourth Gateway to the Smokies Half Marathon and the new 4-Miler will take place at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, in beautiful downtown Waynesville.
The races are sponsored by The Haywood County Chamber of Commerce and the entire Gateway to the Smokies event has been developed by experienced competitive athletes. We have received a lot of compliments on this well-organized race that was designed with runners in mind. This is a family friendly race. Strollers are permitted but we ask that they start at the back of the pack.
