Description
Emilee Hunter was a beautiful, happy, fun to be around, enjoying life to the fullest, 19 year old Hunt High School graduate and Wilson Community College student when a tragic car accident took her life on December 9, 2014.
Her family and friends have rallied together and stood firm on their faith in God and belief in everlasting life through Jesus Christ , to get them through this heavy time of grief and heartache.
Emilee's 13yr old brother, Zach Hunter used his love for basketball to help him deal with the overwhelming loss of his only sister and sibling. During this time the hashtag #DOIT4EM came alive and began trending on social media and beyond. #DOIT4EM was designed to give hope , comfort, peace and happiness during hard times, giving all glory and honor to Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Funds raised will be contributed to Wilson Community College in the form of a scholarship in honor of Emilee Hunter and a Make A Wish Fundraiser for Sharon Hunter .
Walk only registration will be available on race day with no shirt nor packet - $20
