Description
The Thunderbird Spring Run is part of the Thunderbird 10k Race Series where runners compete for the $2350 prize purse given out to the top overall runners. In this unique competition the rule is that runners must compete in all three 10k events throughout the year to have a shot at getting their share of the $2350. The lowest overall time based on the three 10k's will win the title.
The Spring Run is held on April 26, 2014.
The Thunderbird Half Marathon, 10k and 5k is held on August 23, 2014.

No refunds on registration fees. You may transfer your registration to another event within the same calendar year (e.g: in 2014). You can also make changes to the distance as long as you let us know a day in advance. No race day changes. Registration ends 15 minutes prior to the event (e.g: 6:45am for the HM, 7:45 for the 10k, 8:00 for the 5k). If you register after that we cannot guarantee that your official time will be recorded. We strive to start the race on time. Our goal is to honor those who register in advance and arrive to the event on time.
We strongly discourage the use of headphones and earphones while running, walking. Although you will be using the Bismarck Parks and Recreation bike paths for the most part. However, there are a few road crossing (12th & Burleigh and within the Cottonwood Park to cross the soccer fields parking lot access road). You will also share the road with vehicles (very low traffic) on parts of Burleigh Ave just south of the campus is on. Please be careful out there!
Parking will be available around the Skill Center and on the WEST side of the Powwow Circle in the parking area and the grass surrounding it if needed. Drivers be careful as the road to the parking areas might be shared with runners. Additional parking will be available on the streets SOUTH of the All Nations’ Circle as well as the Wellness Center/Gym parking lot.
