Zanfel Orienteering Race # 2

Date--April 18,2026

Location--9799 West Pioneers Blvd. Denton,Ne East entrance to the lake by the dam

3 Hour cutoff

Fees--$40 per person

Fees include--shirts,awards,snacks, drinks,

Registration closes April 3

Check in--8:30am

Maps and info handed out at check in. People may get help if they are new to the sport.

Start--9:00am

Cut off--12:00pm

CalTopo Maps,(pre-plotted) instructions,punch cards handed out at check in.

A day pass can be purchased in the park.

Format--Solo,teams of 2 or 3 person (male,female,coed) teams check in together will run around Conestoga Lake.
START/FINISH is at the West parking lot shelter. 
The course is divided into 2 sides and teams may go in any direction.
Teams may use a free app Handy GPS for assistance. 

A good part of the course is on trails and in the bush.  
Required Gear- large zip lock bag for maps and race material,  cell phone, water, snacks, sun screen and tick spray.
