In the midst of recent events, we want to bring back our live races in the safest way possible. With this being said, our Firecracker Flight live 5K will be ran in waves to keep contact to a minimum. During registration, there will be an option to choose the time that is right for you. If you have already registered, we will be in contact with you to assign you a time.
Below are a list of precautions we are taking to ensure the safest live race possible:
- Bibs and race swag will be provided on race day for participants to be able to safely pick-up.
- If you are in the first wave, packet pick-up will be from 6:40 A.M. to 6:55 A.M. and then the race will begin at 7:00 A.M. Please note, if you have chosen this wave, you have agreed that your race will be completed in 50 minutes or less.
- If you are in the second wave, packet pick-up will be from 8:00 A.M. to 8:15 A.M. and then the race will begin at 8:20 A.M. If you arrive early, please stay in your car until 8:00 A.M. so that all first wave runners can safely complete their race. Please note, if you have chosen this wave, you have agreed that your race will be completed in 50 minutes or less.
- If you are in the third wave, packet pick-up will be from 9:10 A.M. to 9:25 A.M. and then the race will begin at 9:30 A.M. If you arrive early, please stay in your car until 9:10 A.M. so that all second wave runners can safely complete their race.
- Please arrive on time and be at the starting line at your assigned race time to ensure each wave will run smoothly.
- To avoid contact, we will not have portable toilets or water stations at the race. Please prepare as needed.
- To avoid large gatherings, we will not start the next wave of runners until all participants in the first wave have finished. With this being said, once you finish your race, please clear the area to allow the next wave of runners to start.
