Description
Globally, the average distance a person has to travel to get potable water is 3.5 miles. Join us as we walk 3.5 miles to raise awareness about the importance of access to the sacred, life-giving element of water.
We will meet at the gazebo near the playground at the Atlantic Highlands Marina and walk the Henry Hudson Trail to Popamora Point, Highlands, and back (approx. 3.5 miles roundtrip). Join Waterspirit for the full 3.5 miles roundtrip walk or come join for as long as you can!
Can't join Waterspirit on June 8? Walk on your own or create your own team of walkers and walk ANYWHERE and ANYTIME for water.
Set your goal, share your progress with your friends & family, and celebrate the spring by getting outside for a good cause! Your team of supporters can use your special link to donate as you walk. Don't forget to tag #WaterspiritWalkForWater when you share this event on social media!
