For Kitty’s Sake is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. We work within our community to provide a safe haven, medical support, foster placement and adoptive homes for cats in need. We depend upon our foster parents, board members, and volunteers at the cat adoption center at the PetSmart in Mantua, to care for our cats while they await adoption. We have developed a partnership with local veterinarians at Clementon Animal Hospital who work with us on a case-by-case basis, and who continue to impress us with their commitment to our mission.

Village Trappers, an an all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, was started in May 2022 by two women who saw a great need to help the community cats and their caretakers all over South Jersey. Their local shelter was frequently at capacity with cats and kittens, since spay and neuter rates in the community and owned cats are low. Cumberland County is the lowest income county in NJ, and with high poverty rates veterinary care is often cost-prohibitive, and many residents rely on assistance from low-cost spay and neuter programs.
