Our eight week beginner running program requires NO PRIOR RUNNING EXPERIENCE! All we ask is that your bring your sneakers, attend our weekly coached workouts and complete your mid week running assignments with heaps of enthusiasm! Families, colleagues and individuals will receive homework and progress at their own pace over an eight week period . Commit to your goal by following the program and be successful in crossing the finish line. We want you to experience the joy of running and to make it a permanent lifestyle.
A professional USATF and RRCA certified coach will guide you on your journey. Former program graduates and club member volunteers will join the groups and provide additional support. Benefit from our special speaker presentations where you will receive advice from experts in nutrition, physiology and gait analysis . Sessions are weekly for one hour and fifteen minutes in duration. The coach will further provide regular and frequent e-mail communications and respond to any individual questions and concerns.
The graduation 5K race is the Ridgewood Run on May 27, 2019. Inspire your family and friends and make yourself proud on race day as you put your new skills to the road and achieve your 5K goals.
