As if Mary's Place by the Sea's 13th Annual Walk-A-Thon & 6th Annual 5K Run could not get any more exciting, we've decided to turn it up a notch! Join us on Saturday, October 12th 2024 on Ocean Avenue and Ocean Pathway in Ocean Grove, NJ as we come together to walk, run, dance & celebrate in support of our guests and mission!
This year our mission reached a milestone anniversary of 15 years of service to 15,000 women with cancer and it's thanks to YOUR commitment, generosity and love. We want to keep the party going and invite you to join us on the green for a day of true celebration. Not only will we have our traditional vendor market, but we are excited to add a variety of delicious food vendors and food trucks! The cherry on top... a live music performance by our dear friends, the Pat Roddy Band!
This year our goal is to raise $200,000. Proceeds from this event allow our guests to hit the pause button and take part in restorative services for their mind, body and soul. While in our care, our guests receive all integrative services, meals, and accommodations at absolutely NO COST, thanks in part to fundraisers such as this. We can't wait to see so many familiar faces and hope you'll join us this October, as we bring our community together once again for the benefit of our guests. Thank you for supporting our mission so that we may continue to provide a place for women with cancer to heal: mind, body and soul.

THE MISSION OF MARY'S PLACE BY THE SEA
PROVIDING A PLACE FOR WOMEN WITH CANCER TO HEAL:
MIND, BODY, AND SOUL
Mary’s Place by the Sea was founded in 2009 with the compassionate belief that women with cancer need a place to go and be surrounded by love and understanding. Mary’s Place by the Sea has been embraced by its community of supporters since its humble beginnings in a rented B&B to its current location, a beautiful ten-bedroom, custom-built home in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
Steps from the sea, Mary’s Place has welcomed 15,000 women through its doors – each treated with compassion and care that meets their individual needs and allows them to connect with other women who share their journey.
Women with a cancer diagnosis have the opportunity to step away from their treatment and experience free, supportive services that nourish the mind, body, and soul. Serving women primarily in and around New Jersey, but open to women across the country, Mary’s Place offers overnight stays for up to eight guests at a time, and day visits for women within driving distance of the home. Follow-on services like support groups and counseling are also available. A suite of virtual services is also available to women with cancer at any point during and after treatment.
