As the Covid-19 Virus has continued to have a major impact on our daily lives and routines, many special events have been cancelled, postponed or significantly modified. Since our 5K Run/Walk has become such a beloved community and regional event, we wanted to maintain the spirit of our 5K by providing you with the opportunity to participate in a virtual Run/Walk!
Entry Fees: Non-refundable - Online: Early registration is $10.00 before August 31. After August 31 - $13.00.
Please join us again to support student scholarships and local charities by participating in the 10th Annual PARK RIDGE ROTARY VIRTUAL 5K RUN / WALK for Charity! From Thursday, September 1st to Friday, September 30th at Midnight, participants can complete a 5K (3.1 miles) wherever they choose to safely complete your run/walk. And in keeping with our tradition, you can still run or walk with your dog too!
You can Run/Walk in your yard, in your home, on a street, on a treadmill, wherever it is convenient and safe to participate while adhering to the health and safety guidelines in effect at the time of the event. You can submit your time if you would like. PLEASE do send us a picture of yourself and/or your dog during your run/walk while wearing your virtual bib. We will post it on our website and show how we are coming "together, even when we’re apart" to support scholarships and homeless dogs, who so urgently need our help!
