Women Aware's Moving Beyond Abuse 5K Race & Charity Walk will take place (rain or shine) on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Johnson Park - Grove 4 (click link for directions) in Piscataway, NJ. This is a USATF-Certified 5K flat course. For those who wish to run/walk a shorter course or simply support Women Aware by attending, there is an optional Moving Beyond Abuse Charity Walk path as well. Registration covers either option. Teams are encouraged to sign-up to run/walk together. All event proceeds will benefit survivors moving beyond abuse at Women Aware.
Registration on race day will be $45. Free for children 11 and under.
Starting Point: Off River Road—parking and race entrance is Violet Drive.
Parking is on your right of park entrance. The start line is by kiosk/restrooms.
Park entrance and parking can be found by searching "Johnson Park Grove 4" on GPS.

We have over 37 years’ experience providing services to survivors of domestic violence.
Women Aware is the State-designated, lead domestic violence service agency for Middlesex County, New Jersey. Our comprehensive programs provide support across the spectrum of client needs—from emergency crisis intervention to long-term efforts toward independent living. We offer services including a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, community education, support groups, and children’s programs.
All services are free and confidential, and available to all persons regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender expression, national origin, marital status, and military status. It is through these services that we are able to serve 1 out of every 8 survivors of domestic violence in New Jersey to move beyond abuse.
